Fast Facts:
Spanish Club is designed for any student in grades 3 through 6 as
a fun way to begin to learn Spanish.
This 90-minute weekly club will focus on learning through action. Activities will
include listening to Spanish music, reading books written in Spanish, and playing Spanish games.
Spanish Club will meet weekly for ten
weeks beginning the week of September 19th.
Our final club meeting is a fiesta. Club members and their families will enjoy
a Mexican Dinner at Mariachi Locos in Northfield Plaza. Dinner will be Dutch treat.
A club fee of $40
covers the instructor fee, workbook, and most material fees. The remaining costs are under-written
by Gifted Advocates in Nordonia, a group of parents, educators, students and community members working together to promote
awareness of issues in gifted education and to advocate for the unique learning needs of high ability students in the Nordonia
Hills School District.
Spanish Club meets weekly and is held immediately after school in the multi-media
room of each elementary building.
